At LifePoint Church, located in Franklin KY, everything we do revolves around two of the greatest statements of Jesus: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart” and “Make disciples of all people.” In short, Jesus stressed that our faith is more about relationships than religion. Based on that principle we focus on God’s expectations for the church. Believe A Place to Believe Our church will provide a context for people to discover, embrace and follow Jesus. Belong A Place to Belong Our church will welcome everyone to worship and serve the Lord together with us. Become A Place to Become Our church will help every follower of Christ become more like Jesus in our beliefs and actions. Be the Church Be the Church Our church will demonstrate the love of God in meaningful ways to our community and the world. P L What to expect We know that you may have lots of questions the first time you visit LifePoint Church. Such as "Where do I park? Which door do I use to enter? Is there a kid's ministry? Where are the bathrooms? What should I wear? What kind of music will I hear?". We understand that this can cause a whole range of emotions and thoughts. Pastor Jerry Gifford and the staff want you to know that we understand and are here to help you with these questions and any others you may have along the way. Every Sunday morning you will find people in gray t-shirts that say "How Can I Serve You?" on the front. Any one of these people can answer your questions, pray for you, and are here to make you feel at home. While your first visit may come with lots of questions and emotions, we want you to know that we are really only about one thing, Jesus. We worship Him, we teach about Him, we pray to Him, and we serve Him. It is our goal that everyone that walks through our doors would be pointed to Jesus. So no matter what happens when you visit, please take time today to meet Jesus. Worship We Believe in Passionate Worship At LifePoint in Franklin worship is a lifestyle - not just a song. It is about preparing our hearts to experience God in a real and personal way. You can expect to hear new and old songs played in various styles by a praise band. You will find a casual atmosphere to worship freely at LifePoint. You will also find that we take communion, we give offerings to support God's work, and we go out and love our community. Teaching We believe in the Name of Jesus We start with the Bible. We believe the Bible sends a message of Love to a world that is hurting. God uses His truth to transform our lives; to become better people, better spouses, better parents. Our ultimate goal is to know Jesus and become like Him. Children We Believe Children Matter To Jesus At Starting Point Nursery and Launching Point Preschool we teach three core truths to your younger children in age-appropriate ways. The truths are Jesus Made You, Jesus Loves You, and Jesus Wants to be Your Forever Friend. At Turning Point Elementary we want to partner with you to teach your children I Can Trust God No Matter What, I Need To Make the Wise Choice, and I Should Treat Others the Way I Want to be Treated. Students We Believe Students Matter To Jesus At LifePoint we believe that the youth of our church are not just our future. They are leaders of today in their schools, communities, and world. We believe they are ready to make disciples and encourage them to do so. We encourage them to worship with our youth and adult praise bands. We encourage them to serve by having multiple mission oppertunities locally, nationally, and globally. We believe they can change the world for the sake of the Gospel and encourage them to do so. Staff LifePoint Staff Our staff is here to equip believers to become the hands and feet of Christ. We are here to help them understand God's word, reach our community and world, and love one another.
